Coaching Contract for Corporate Partners
Following are a few guidelines to make our working relationship as productive as possible. If you have questions, please ask.
Procedure: Scheduled calls need to be received on time and 45-60 minutes in length. Clients should complete the preparation questions prior to each call (coach will provide). This allows us to be as prepared and focused as possible to make the best use of our time.
Meetings: Our agreement includes a set number of scheduled monthly meetings either via phone or Microsoft Teams. If either party is unable to keep a regularly scheduled appointment, we will compare calendars in advance and book another time.
Communication: The coach will meet with the manager/corporate sponsor to understand coaching needs and goals for the client(s) and will follow up on an agreed upon schedule with high level updates on progress, but the bulk of the work and communication (including confidentiality around details) is between the coach and client. The coach will also encourage and expect the client to keep the manager/corporate sponsor updated on coaching topics and progress throughout the coaching engagement.
Changes: Cancellations need to be made at least 24 hours in advance. In case of emergency, the coach will work around it. Otherwise, missed calls are not made up or refunded.
Extra time: Contact between scheduled meetings by email or short phone calls (~5 minutes or so in length) is included in the monthly fee. Questions, struggles, thoughts and updates are welcome; clients who use this extra level of service have better continuity between sessions and make greater progress.
Fees: Debit/credit card or bank account information is kept on file and charged on the first of each month based on the sessions scheduled that month. A form is provided to set up payment. Receipts are emailed.
Follow through: Clients typically engage for coaching for a minimum of 6 months. It is imperative that clients apply themselves if coaching is to be successful. Our work will be purposeful, goal-directed and sometimes dependent on doing some ‘homework.’ Other times, it will be very broad in scope, requiring reflection and thought about desires and goals for life, vision, mission, etc. Either way, the real growth comes from the work between sessions. A coach does not come with answers, but will walk faithfully with clients to seek them.
